Paperback Productions is excited to continue Paperback Presents, our initiative dedicated to producing original work from independent playwrights and bringing those stories to live audiences in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

For our second Paperback Presents production, we are now accepting original script submissions for staged readings in November across one or more partner venues in Denton. Performance locations include Harvest House and Toasty Bros, with a third venue possible. One script will be selected for production, and the playwright will receive 15% of the production’s net proceeds through our profit-sharing structure.

If you submitted during our previous round, you’re welcome to resubmit your work for consideration. We especially encourage original adaptations of public domain literature and inventive reimaginings of familiar stories, though all original work is welcome. Scripts must run 60-100 minutes with casts of eight or fewer.
