Beowulf
We are seeking 6-8 actors for our production of Beowulf, an original adaptation informed by the Hall and Morris translations. Individual actors may play multiple characters. All performances are staged readings presented at our partner venues. To audition, submit a tape of a one-minute classical monologue, along with your headshot and resume, to felix@paperbackproductions.com.
Synopsis
Beowulf, greatest of the Geats, sails to Denmark to destroy the monster haunting Hrothgar’s hall. His victory sets in motion a cycle of bloodshed that stretches across forty years, shaping the rise, reign, and reckoning of a warrior’s life.
