Our Mission

Paperback Productions is a local theatre company dedicated to producing classical texts and literary adaptations. Productions are rehearsed over the course of one week and presented as staged readings in partnership with local venues, with an emphasis on clear storytelling, accessibility, and close audience engagement. Because economic accessibility is central to our mission, all performances are free. Artists are compensated through a profit-sharing model, helping us sustain theatre in Denton in a way that is equitable, flexible, and community-driven.
